Complete 7-Day Living the Andes
Arrival & Acclimatization
The moment you arrive in Cusco, we take the reins. Our staff will welcome you and provide a private transfer directly to your hotel. Today is entirely yours—a designed pause to let your body gently acclimate to the altitude while you settle into the rhythm of the Andes.
Private Cusco City Heritage
Step into the history of the Tahuantinsuyo empire without the friction of large groups. Your private guide will lead you through a curated exploration of Cusco’s greatest treasures, from the colonial grandeur of the Cathedral to the masterful Inca engineering of Sacsayhuaman. We will visit the ceremonial sites of Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay at a comfortable, unhurried pace, ensuring your immersion is as relaxing as it is fascinating.
The Classic Sacred Valley
We journey into the sweeping landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Take in the breathtaking vistas at the Taray viewpoint before exploring the magnificent archaeological complex of Pisac. After a curated local lunch in Urubamba, we will wander the ancient, still-inhabited streets of Ollantaytambo. In the late afternoon, board a panoramic train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying the shifting landscapes as you prepare for tomorrow's marvel.
Machu Picchu Sanctuary
Awaken early for a seamless ascent to the sacred city of the Incas. Your private guide will lead you on an exclusive 2.5-hour journey through Machu Picchu's most significant spiritual and architectural sectors. You will have ample time for quiet contemplation and photography, absorbing the majestic energy of the sanctuary. Later, enjoy a relaxed return via train, where your private driver will be waiting to escort you back to Cusco.
Misminay: An Authentic Andean Immersion
Today, we leave the modern world behind for a profound cultural connection. We travel to the Andean community of Misminay, where locals welcome you into their daily lives. You will participate in a traditional Pachamanca cooking class, witness ancestral textile weaving using natural dyes, and connect with the earth through agricultural demonstrations. As evening falls, you will retire to an exclusive, premium lodge at the foot of the sacred mountains, sleeping under a canopy of stars.
Maras, Moray & A Curated Mountain Picnic
A day of gentle exploration and exquisite flavors. We will visit Moray, the fascinating circular terraces used as an Inca agricultural laboratory, and the brilliant white salt pools of Maras, actively harvested since pre-Inca times. The highlight of the day is a private, curated Andean picnic served outdoors, offering you a gourmet experience with an unparalleled backdrop of the snow-capped Cordillera.
Departure
Your final morning in Cusco is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Whether it’s last-minute shopping or a final Andean espresso, there is no rush. When you are ready, your private transfer will ensure a flawless journey to the airport.
