Detailed Itinerary
A Coast-to-Desert Odyssey
04:30 AM: Private Departure from Lima
Your private driver collects you from your Lima hotel (Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco). Settle into your comfortable vehicle for the drive south, watching the desert landscape unfold as the sun rises.
Morning: The Ballestas Islands (Paracas)
The Boat Ride: Arrive at the Paracas marina and board a speedboat for a 2-hour tour. The Candelabra: Marvel at the mysterious geoglyph carved into the sand cliffs, a cousin to the Nazca Lines. Wildlife: Get up close to colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and vast flocks of guano birds on the rocky islands.
Mid-Day: Pisco & Palate (Ica)
Winery Visit: We drive inland to Ica to visit Bodega Caravedo (or similar), a historic vineyard. Learn about the distillation process of Pisco and enjoy a tasting of different varieties. Lunch: Enjoy free time for lunch at the winery or a local restaurant (not included). Your driver can recommend spots with excellent local criollo food.
Afternoon: The Oasis Adventure (Huacachina)
The Oasis: Arrive at Huacachina, a surreal lagoon surrounded by towering sand dunes. Take some time to walk around the oasis and snap photos of this mirage-like setting. Dune Buggy & Sandboarding: Buckle up for a high-octane ride in a tubular dune buggy. Your expert driver will navigate the dunes like a rollercoaster. Then, try your hand at sandboarding down the slopes—an exhilarating experience for beginners and pros alike.
Evening: The Return
As the sun sets over the desert, we begin the private drive back to Lima. Relax, nap, or sort through your photos in the comfort of your private car. 22:30 PM: Drop-off at your hotel in Lima.

Frequently asked questions
Clearing Your Doubts
Q: Is the boat tour private?
A: No, maritime regulations require the Ballestas Islands tour to be on specific larger speedboats for safety and environmental protection. However, your transfer from Lima and between sites is 100% private.
Q: Can we stop for breakfast?
A: Yes! Since you have a private driver, we can stop for a quick breakfast on the way to Paracas or grab a snack. Just let your driver know.
Q: What if I don't want to sandboard?
A: You can still enjoy the dune buggy ride! The buggy stops at the top of the dunes for photos and the view. You can watch others sandboard or just enjoy the desert landscape without sliding down.
Q: Is it safe to return so late?
A: Absolutely. Your private driver will drop you off directly at the door of your hotel in a safe district (Miraflores/San Isidro). The vehicle is tracked by GPS for your safety.
