- Service & Transaction Fees: Please note that credit/debit card payments are subject to a 5% service fee, and payments via PayPal incur an 8% fee. Any bank fees from wire transfers are the client's responsibility.
2. Date Changes Requested by the Traveler
We get it—plans can change. We'll do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability and the following conditions:
- Tours WITHOUT Machu Picchu: You may request a date change up to 48 hours before the tour begins. A minimum administrative fee will apply.
- Tours WITH Machu Picchu: Date change requests are accepted up to 72 hours in advance for new dates at least 2 months out. However, a 100% penalty will be applied to the cost of Machu Picchu entrance tickets and train tickets, as these are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable under government and railway policies.
- Additional Costs: Any additional costs incurred from the change (fare differences, supplier penalties, etc.) will be covered by the client. Availability cannot be guaranteed.
- Special Permits (Huayna Picchu, etc.): If your booking includes add-on permits, these are also non-refundable and will incur separate penalties.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your trip, please notify your sales advisor in writing via email. Cancellations must be made by the person who made the booking.
- Cancellation Fees:
- 42 days (6 weeks) or more before the trip: 60% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
- 14 to 41 days before the trip: 80% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
- Within 7 days of the trip: 100% of the tour cost is non-refundable.
- Personal Reasons: Confirmed bookings are not eligible for refunds if canceled for personal reasons.
4. Traveler Responsibilities
- Documentation: It's your responsibility to have a valid passport (with at least 6 months of validity beyond your travel date) and any necessary visas. If you renew your passport after booking, you must notify us and provide a copy of the new document to update permits.
- Travel Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and lost baggage. Peace of mind is priceless.
- Arrival Information: To ensure a seamless pickup, you'll need to provide us with your flight arrival details (airline, flight number, time) two days before you land.
