Recomendaciones
- Acclimatization: Cusco is at 3,400 m (11,150 ft). This itinerary is designed to help with gradual acclimatization, but we recommend taking it easy on Day 1.
- Advance Booking: Machu Picchu tickets and trains sell out months in advance. We strongly recommend booking this package at least 3-4 months prior.
- Luggage for Machu Picchu: For the overnight in Ollantaytambo (Day 2) and the train journey, pack a small overnight bag. Large suitcases must remain stored in Cusco due to train luggage restrictions.

Preguntas frecuentes
FAQs
Q: How do I choose which hike to do on Day 4?
A: The best choice depends on your fitness level. Vinicunca is famous but demanding. Palccoyo is easier with similar views. Humantay is moderately challenging. Ausangate is the most remote and demanding. We can advise you based on your profile.
Q: Do I need to be very fit for this package?
A: Days 1-3 are easy to moderate. Day 4, however, requires a good level of fitness and excellent acclimatization due to the high altitude (4,200m to 5,000m+).
Q: What is the picnic experience like on Day 2?
A: It’s a premium experience. We select a scenic spot away from the crowds and set up a comfortable tipi. The food is freshly prepared, featuring local Andean ingredients, offering a moment of relaxation and connection with the landscape.
