Perguntas frequentes
FAQs
Q: Why is the Sacred Valley split into two separate days in this itinerary?
A: We split the Sacred Valley (Day 3 and Day 5) to provide a more relaxed and in-depth experience. Trying to see everything in one day can feel rushed. This structure allows ample time at each site and incorporates the unique picnic experience without logistical stress.
Q: What is the advantage of staying overnight in Aguas Calientes (Day 3)?
A: Staying overnight allows you to visit Machu Picchu early in the morning on Day 4, often before the day-trippers arrive. It makes for a much more relaxed journey.
Q: How acclimatized do I need to be for the Day 6 hike?
A: By Day 6, you will have spent five days at altitude, which generally provides excellent acclimatization. However, the hikes still reach significant elevations (up to 5,000m+), so a good level of fitness is required.
